1. Must the area be acclimatized before Contesse Exell is installed?

It is recommended that the packs should be thoroughly acclimatized for 48 hours in the area where the floor will be installed.

2.What are the best circumstances for the installation of Contesse Exell?

Contesse Exell is best fitted at a room temperature of 18 to 29°C.

3. What is the recommended foundation?

Exell easily absorbs (sic?) Exell differences up to 2 mm. If more, the sub-floor must be levelled first. Another form of foundation such as that used with parquet or laminate is not allowed.

4. Can Contesse Exell be fitted in a bathroom or kitchen?

This is indeed possible, but the contours must be sealed with waterproof silicone.

5. Does it require a lot of accessories?

No, a square and Stanley knife is enough.

6. Can Contesse Exell be used in renovation projects?

Contesse Exell is extremely useful in renovation projects: Contesse Exell is extremely thin, therefore doors usually do not have to be modified. No damage is done to the foundation either.

7. Is Contesse Exell certified fire-retardant?
