1. Contesse Exell is simple to install: Because of our patented system, Contesse Exell is simple to install. Thus, 2 planks are attached to each other using a glue strip (Grip-strip/lip-joint) connection. This allows for a sturdy connection between the planks.


2. Contesse Exell is simple to cut: By making a ridge in the top layer, the plank can be cracked in exactly the right location where you need it, and completely straight.


3. Contesse Exell is extremely thin: Contesse Exell’s thickness varies between 3.8 to 4.5 mm (depending on the type) making it perfect for renovation projects:
• Floor bases do not always have to be removed
• Doors do not always have to be cut smaller


4. Contesse Exell is installed as a floating system:
   • The individual planks are attached to each other by the glue strip (self-adhesive). Thus, it is not necessary to glue the product to the background once again.
   • The fact that it is installed floating, ensures that the background (wood, tiles, concrete, etc.) can be retained in its original state, without having to damage this (further) using a levelling substance and/or glue.


5. Contesse Exell does not generate any dust, noise or bad odours during its installation: No dust is generated when cutting Contesse Exell. You only need to make a groove in the top layer using a Stanley knife to cut a plank. This automatically also implies that no noise is generated either. Once again, this can be of great benefit during renovations in for instance the care sector).


6. Contesse Exell is simple to maintain: Contesse Exell is simple to maintain using a wet cloth and a Ph-neutral maintenance product.


7. Contesse Exell easily absorbs differences in depth of up to 2 mm: Contesse Exell can be fitted on any existing tile floor of which the joint sizes are max. 2 mm, without any danger that these seams will be showing their outlines over time.


8. Contesse Exell is waterproof: Contesse Exell can be fitted in dry as well as wet areas (bathrooms, kitchens, etc.). When fitting in wet areas, it is only necessary to seal off the edges of the area with waterproof silicone to prevent moisture from seeping in under the surface. In the joints, the glue strip ensures a waterproof seam.


9. Contesse Exell has a soundproof effect: Contesse Exell is naturally soundproof (up to 11 dB). In order to achieve this result, it is not necessary to lay any extra foundations that would only thicken the totality and that would just make it more expensive.


10. Contesse Exell has real wood grain patterns: The wood grain patterns in Contesse Exell are extremely close to the real wooden products, therefore it is often not possible to differentiate between a 100% wooden floor. All our designs are developed in Switserland and carefully tested.
    No plank is 100% identical to the other either, thereby achieving a natural wood grain effect.
